Home Depot’s annual premier Pro Event—hosted in partnership with GVCA (Grand Valley Construction Association) CAWIC - Canadian Association of Women in Construction is tomorrow ! It is an incredible day packed with networking opportunities, live demos, prizes, and more. Friday night part of our team was able to attend the Grand Valley Construction Associations Building Excellence Awards. Our teams hard work and dedication allowed us to be recognized for our project at AIM Recycling. We are extremely proud to announce, Christine Snider, was awarded the Women Empowerment Award for her relentless pursuit in making the construction industry more inclusive to women no matter what role they play. Her speech held so much meaning for everyone in attendance. We congratulate her and are proud she is helping to lead and move our team forward in this industry.

Our HVAC teams had a busy Tuesday morning, managing two separate crane lifts across two project sites.
The first lift involved a 20,000 lb DOAS unit, which was expertly placed on a custom structural platform. This will provide heating,cooling and humidification for the Conestoga ATS building.
The second lift featured a three-piece modular AHU, which required careful rigging and skating into the mechanical room at the new Conestoga Trades Campus.
Great work by our teams that executed these lifts safely and efficiently!

We are currently seeking a truck driver, full time, for our Kitchener Company. Position to include driving to various job sites in the South Western Ontario. Duties to include assisting in loading and unloading material on to trucks. Assisting with various shop duties with our Tool Room Coordinator. WHMIS Safety Certificate must be up to date. Fork lift training certificate would be an asset. Must have 5 years’ experience and clean CVOR and driving abstract as well as criminal records search.

Crane day for our 3 big 16,000lb chillers at the old Courthouse building, soon to be Waterloo Regional Police Services building on Frederick Street in Kitchener. Collaboration with Melloul Blamey, Mammoet Crane and our other fellow sub trades made this lift, seamless. Thank you to the Centre in the Square for their patience as we staged the crane in their parking lot.
