The wilderness around Nuk Tessli is under threat.
A proposed hydro project near Nuk Tessli and the Charlotte Alplands could bring dams, reservoirs, roads, transmission lines, construction noise, and long-term industrial impacts into one of the wildest and most remote landscapes in B.C.
This area is more than a beautiful backdrop. It is an intact wildlife habitat, wetlands, alpine lakes, quiet valleys, and a place that has deeply affected so many people who have visited over the years.
Nuk Tessli exists because this place is still wild. That wilderness is what makes it special — and once it is industrialized, we cannot get it back.
