This month, we’re proud to recognize Cole Lawson!

Cole is a first-year Carpenter Apprentice who will soon be heading into his second year of schooling. He has a genuine passion for carpentry and brings a work ethic that stands out.

Cole takes pride in the details and has developed a keen eye for the fine finishing work involved in tinwork. He’s always looking to improve his skills, learn something new, and take on more responsibility.

As Cole continues to grow in his trade, he has also started stepping up and taking the lead with coworkers when the opportunity arises. His willingness to learn, attention to detail, and drive to improve are exactly what we like to see in our apprentices.

This custom equestrian facility at White Moose Farms in Priddis, Alberta is officially complete. 🐎🏗️

Spanning approximately 24,000 sq. ft., this impressive build was designed specifically for the needs of the operation, featuring a purpose-built lunging arena, a spacious riding arena, high-clearance interiors, dedicated stables, and ample hay storage.

From functionality to scale, every part of this project was planned to support the day-to-day demands of a working equestrian facility while delivering the durability and quality Premium Built Structures is known for.

With the exterior framing now complete, our crew is moving into the next phase: metal cladding.

Featuring living quarters above and garage space below, this build brings together functional workspace, practical storage, and comfortable living in one efficient post frame structure.

We were thrilled to welcome the Alberta Emerald Foundation to our facility in Lacombe, Alberta to see firsthand how we are driving sustainability in post frame construction with our Eco-Column.

Darren, our General Manager, shared the Eco-Column success story and its potential to reshape post frame construction across North America.

Travis from our partners at Grey is Green highlighted the environmental impact behind the product and how Eco-Column is helping divert significant amounts of plastic waste from Alberta landfills, giving it a second life as a durable building foundation.

A big thank you to Distillery Films for the great interviews and for capturing our operations on camera. We can't wait to see the finished documentary.

🌟 TEAM Appreciation – Gregori 🌟

This month, we are happy to recognize Gregori and the positive impact he brings to our team here at Premium.

Gregori joined us just over three years ago when arriving In Canada from Ukraine.

It has been an absolute pleasure working with Greg and getting to learn about his background and his home country.

From there he brought an amazing set of skills that he has used in his role at Premium to excel in the field of Post Frame Construction. He is an extremely hard worker, a skilled carpenter, and he takes great pride in doing precise, quality metal work. Greg is dependable, always shows up ready to work, and is quick to lend a hand whenever someone needs it.

What really stands out about Gregory is the attitude he brings to work with him each day. He is calm, easygoing, and almost always has a smile ready for everyone. He can communicate without loudness but has no issue in sharing his knowledge with those who ask. He enjoys having a good time with his crew, brings plenty of laughter to those around him and gets the job done consistently and efficiently on a daily basis.

Greg has also been known to leave his mark on you, literally and figuratively, when running into him in the workplace. 😊

He offers up the most generous and warm BEAR HUG of a hand shake that has quietly become a rite of passage for those meeting him for the first time.

Greg, thank you for the hard work, craftsmanship, reliability, and good humour you bring to the team. The contribution you make in what we do for our customers certainly doesn’t go unnoticed.
