Apollo Industries Ltd. Manufacturing custom made Architectural Woodwork. Established in 1985 we have grown into a shop with 24,000 Square feet.

New state of the art machinery purchased and maintained as the years have past. We are equipped with a hot press to do custom veneering for paneling and number 1 edge doors as well as custom cabinets. We purchased a CNC machining station in order to be efficient and accurate in machining and reduce machining times. Recently we have a new edge bander and saws to produce more material in a shorter t

ime frame. We have the tooling for all aspects of millwork production including solids and veneering. With our new 4 feet x 10-foot press we manufacture oversized paneling for every job application. In the last year we have become SAW certified and FSC Certified for those projects requiring us to be. Our workforce of approximately 25 experienced individuals at any time includes journeymen as well as production-oriented employees. Education and training is always in place to achieve better workmanship as well as efficiency in times. In the office we have moved into the high tech era in producing drawings in CAD as well as the manual drawings and work these drawings into Cam language in order to run the computerized equipment in the shop. We are looking for individuals with experience in the woodworking industry to learn and teach the skills that come with this rewarding career.

Qualifications and Skills:

We are looking for your positive attitude and who can work in a team environment as well as on their own.
The candidate is to be able to read shop drawings and can assemble cabinets
Preferably have 2-3 years of experience minimum.
This position may include some opportunity for installation.
Experience in both laminate work, as well as woodwork, is of benefit.
Experience with table saws and other woodworking machinery is a requirement.
You will be able to prioritize, as well as handle multiple tasks while doing your day to day duties.
Employees are required to own their own hand tools.Power tools are supplied by us
To travel to work a valid driver's license is necessary and as well as a transportation vehicle is needed to come to work. No public transit is available.
A good handle on English language will help with communicating with co-workers as well as clients.
Work Visa to be able to work in Canada, if not a Canadian citizen.

This individual:

Is to have experience in all aspects of woodworking
Must have great people skills and the ability to work with his/her team.
Have knowledge on finishing woodwork projects
Requires to understand the building process of cabinetry, panels, and doors
To be fluent in metric as well as imperial
Can read blueprint and shop drawings
Requires to be organized and aware of timelines to be met
Will manage a number of different projects and people at the same time.
Must be willing to work overtime when necessary
Must be a Problem solver
Is to be Punctual
Must have a clean driver abstract
Will be responsible to:

Organize staff
Monitor inventory.
Be involved with safety
Change projects as needed
Organize shipments and deliveries.
