Project Controller – Mining Sector (Lanigan, SK)
We are seeking a skilled Project Controller to join our team in the Lanigan area, supporting critical mining projects. This role is pivotal in ensuring effective cost management, accurate forecasting, and timely reporting to drive project success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and site personnel to implement robust project cost controls
• Track operational costs, monitor budgets, and forecast project spend to completion
• Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports and analyses for project and portfolio managers
• Participate in meetings with stakeholders, including site and corporate teams, to align on project goals
• Support operations, finance, and executive teams with data-driven insights
• Contribute to project planning and ex*****on to ensure timely and successful completion
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or certification in finance, accounting, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• 1–2 years of experience in project cost control, accounting, or finance roles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to learn specialized finance/project software
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with diverse stakeholders
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage tight deadlines
• Collaborative team player who can also work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations and adapt to changing priorities
• Willingness to work on-site at a mining project office
Preferred Skills:
• Experience in the mining or construction industry
• Familiarity with project management tools or ERP systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive work ethic

Work Schedule:
• Typical hours: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM, 4 consecutive days per week (schedule may vary based on project needs)
• Successful candidates must pass a Drug and Alcohol Test as a condition of employment
