Full job description:
Our company in Lethbridge, AB is currently seeking an individual to fill the position of Journeyman Welder or a 3rd year apprentice welder. As a Welder you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, utilizing your expertise and craftsmanship to create high-quality products. In shop work and occasional on-site work.
Responsibilities
• Perform various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding
• Read and interpret blueprints to execute welding projects
• Fabricate and assemble by welding components together
• Maintain and calibrate welding equipment as needed
• Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
Requirements:
• Valid Journeyman Welder certification or 3rd year Alberta apprenticeship
• Minimum of 3 years of experience welding
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques
• Must be able to pass weld test
• Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Assets:
• Strong TIG abilities on stainless and aluminum
• Handrail Fabrication Experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
