Mayson began his journey in the trades as a labourer, quickly developing a deep curiosity for every stage of the build. That same drive now fuels his role overseeing logistics, site flow, and the operational systems that keep projects running seamlessly.

He’s the kind of guy who can read a set of prints and spot what’s missing—before the first cut is even made.

On site, Mayson is known for his level-headed presence and just the right dose of sarcasm to keep things light. His attention to detail and relentless push for high standards have earned him the nickname “Quality Control” among the team—and with good reason.

As a founder, Mayson works behind the scenes to refine how the team builds, streamlining systems and coordinating logistics between job sites. He may not be the loudest voice in the room, but he’s often the reason everything stays on track.

Floors and boards.

Definitely one of the more meticulous projects we have worked on. Client needed a smooth floor finish but required boards be ripped up due to foundation work required.
We simply zeroed our lasers, ensured door heights were good, verified our finish floor heights and went from there. Definitely a memorable one for our books for a heritage remediation.

💪 Built to last.

Here we’re installing an 18-inch, 4-ply beam spanning 20 feet, and it’s a critical part of the structure. When dealing with such a large span, there’s no room for error, and the beam selection becomes vital to ensure the safety and longevity of the build. Engineers often choose hefty beams like this to manage the risks associated with structural integrity, especially when there’s the potential for high loads or shifting forces over time.

While it might seem like overkill to some, these larger beams are crucial for distributing weight evenly and preventing issues like sagging or stress fractures. The goal is to provide not just support, but long-term stability. Structural elements like this play a key role in the overall strength of the building, and when lives and investments are at stake, taking extra precautions is always worth it. It’s about safeguarding both the present and the future.

🚧Pads in, sheds going up!🚧

Before ever framing on any pad we check for level, square, and depth of pad. Not all concrete is screed or cured consistently.
Taking time to evaluate the site just makes it smoother when the pedal hits the metal!

🏡 Roofs need personality too!
A fun project we did about a year ago! Removed shingles, and over framed on the pre existing roof. Owner wanted a Dormer to match the home addition to balance the design out.
