EDPRO was pleased to be a part of conversations with the Associate Minister of Energy Intensive Industries Sam Oosterhoff, MPP for Niagara West, to discuss the importance of propane across the Niagara region.

We discussed the operational challenges presented by reduced load capacity in March and April coupled with the continued demand for propane during cold spring weather.

We will continue to do our part to ensure those across Southwestern Ontario and the rest of Canada have access to propane as a reliable, affordable, and lower-carbon source of energy.

Great to meet with Associate Minister of Energy Intensive Industries Sam Oosterhoff, MPP for Niagara West, to discuss the importance of propane across the Niagara region.

Discussions included the importance of propane used in vineyards and the issue of seasonal load restrictions.

With reduced load capacity in March and April and continued demand for propane during cold spring weather, seasonal load restrictions create operational challenges for the propane industry.

Ensuring reliable energy means recognizing these realities and supporting practical solutions that keep communities and businesses operating without disruption.

To help recognize women in our industry, we chatted with Kerri Wallis, one of our Territory Managers, about what International Women's Day meant to her, and about her work here at EDPRO and in the propane industry. This is what she had to say:

"International Women's Day is extra special because my youngest daughter was born on this day, and I am so blessed to see both my daughters thrive in their respective careers with faith and integrity! What I enjoy about working for EDPRO is our customers we get to help and our team that makes it all possible. We had a truck breakdown recently, which prevented some crucial deliveries from happening on a Friday, and many of our customers work weekends. Several of my colleagues pitched in to help ensure these customers all received at least a partial delivery so that their propane needs were met. This is our caring culture in action, and I love that I get to brag about our amazing customer service.

I do have a funny story... Our 20-month-old grandson recognizes our logo, but I am afraid it doesn’t mean EDPRO or propane… It means Grandma!😊"
