EDPRO had a fantastic evening at the TMTA London Trade show yesterday at Fanshawe College.

James Oakes (Training Specialist) and Kerri Wallis (local Territory Manager in the forklift cylinder sector), connected with students and local business owners across the transportation maintenance and technology space.

We had some great conversations about propane as a cost-effective, reliable source of power for local businesses, as well as propane conversions for vehicles and the benefits of propane as a fuel for fleets.

Thanks to everyone that stopped by to chat with us, and to TMTA London for putting on a great show!

June 9 is National Forklift Safety Day

As a reminder:
- Always keep propane cylinders upright and secure
- Store them in well-ventilated areas away from heat or ignition
- Never attempt to refill cylinders unless you’re properly trained
- Check for leaks or damage before use

It has many environmental benefits as a fuel option and is recognized for its less damaging environmental impact.

EDPRO was pleased to be a part of conversations with the Associate Minister of Energy Intensive Industries Sam Oosterhoff, MPP for Niagara West, to discuss the importance of propane across the Niagara region.

We discussed the operational challenges presented by reduced load capacity in March and April coupled with the continued demand for propane during cold spring weather.

We will continue to do our part to ensure those across Southwestern Ontario and the rest of Canada have access to propane as a reliable, affordable, and lower-carbon source of energy.

Great to meet with Associate Minister of Energy Intensive Industries Sam Oosterhoff, MPP for Niagara West, to discuss the importance of propane across the Niagara region.

Discussions included the importance of propane used in vineyards and the issue of seasonal load restrictions.

With reduced load capacity in March and April and continued demand for propane during cold spring weather, seasonal load restrictions create operational challenges for the propane industry.

Ensuring reliable energy means recognizing these realities and supporting practical solutions that keep communities and businesses operating without disruption.
