We are seeking a fully licensed or term 1 or 2 313A apprentice/ HVAC technician to join our team. The position would involve the service and installation of HVAC equipment. The proper candidate should be able to complete tasks independently or as a team.
Duties
Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioners, heaters, and ventilation systems.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC equipment and systems.
Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with other technicians and construction teams on installation projects.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Conduct inspections of HVAC systems to identify potential problems or necessary repairs.
Able to properly size and install gas piping
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications
Must have a Gas Technician 3 license
Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems.
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (lifting, climbing ladders, confined spaces)
Experience in construction is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documents.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
Must be able to work a rotating emergency on-call schedule
Valid G driver's license with clean driver abstract
Must have a clean criminal record
Must have safety footwear, digital meter and your own hand tools
Electrical experience would be an asset
