Our annual summer food truck lunches are back! It’s the perfect excuse to step outside, soak up some sunshine, enjoy delicious food and spend time with coworkers you may not normally see during the day.

Over the past 10 years, Azariah has continued to grow as a leader at Starlim, taking on new challenges and opportunities along the way. One of his defining milestones was his transition from Production Management to Logistics Management — a move that showed his willingness to step outside his comfort zone, learn something new, and do what was best for the team and the company. 🙌

☀️Blue skies, sunshine, great food, and even better company made this year’s Summer Picnic one to remember!

It was wonderful to see so many employees, family members, and friends come together to enjoy an afternoon of fun outside of work. The day was packed with something for everyone. From face painting,🎨inflatables, jelly ball, and plenty of candy🍭🍬 for the kids, to exciting prize draws and a delicious BBQ meal served by Pineridge BBQ. 🍗🌽

One of the day’s biggest highlights was the return of the friendly rivalry between Team Dan and Team Moe. This year’s soccer shootout brought plenty of laughs, friendly competition, and, of course, bragging rights for the winning team! ⚽️🥅🏆

🎉 15 years and counting! Congratulations to Adam Scherer on reaching an incredible milestone with Starlim North America.

Adam started his journey in our Applications department, where his curiosity, technical expertise, and drive to learn quickly set him apart. Those qualities led him to our R&D team, and today he plays a key leadership role, overseeing both our Operations Technology and Research & Development departments. Known for his thoughtful, analytical approach, Adam is someone we can always count on. 

Outside of work, he’s just as active, whether he’s boating 🚣‍♂️with his wife and two daughters, cheering on his volleyball player,🏐squeezing in a lunch break run, or heading outdoors for skiing or mountain biking,🚴 he’s always up for it all! Even jumping into a freezing cold lake swim on a company off-site. 🏊 And while he may not be the first one on the dance floor, he definitely stole the show in last year’s Christmas party conga line! 🕺

🌟 Last month, team members from Starlim North America had the opportunity to participate in an Elastomer Chemistry Course, delivered by Rick Valeriote of Poly-Nova Technologies (PNT) during two interactive sessions held on June 11 and June 18. One session was hosted at Starlim North America, while the second took place at PNT, giving participants the opportunity to learn in two collaborative environments.

As a valued member of the Starlim Group of Companies, Poly-Nova Technologies regularly collaborates with Starlim North America through technical knowledge sharing, industry events, and trade shows. 🙌 This training is another great example of how our cross-company network strengthens our teams by sharing expertise, fostering innovation, and supporting continuous improvement.

Giving back to our community is something we're proud to be part of and have been doing for many years.🩵💙🤍

As part of the United Way's Day of Caring campaign, this year team Starlim spent the morning helping beautify the exterior of both Queens Ave. office locations by cleaning parking lots, tending flower beds, and completing lawn maintenance. A big thank you to Marisol, Biniam, Sasidharan, Orlando, Christian, and Katie for volunteering their time and energy to make a positive impact in our community.

We wrapped up a productive morning with a well-earned lunch from , supporting another great local London business.🥪🥤🥗

🎉 Congratulations to Alex Ewusie-Mensah!

Alex’s 10 year journey at Starlim is a true example of hard work and growth. Starting as a Production Worker, he steadily worked his way through the organization into roles as Shift Leader Assistant and now Shift Leader. Earning the respect of his team every step of the way.

Known for always being willing to help, share knowledge, and support those around him, Alex has built a strong and reliable team through clear communication, guidance, and leading by example. Whether facing everyday challenges or stepping in during critical situations, Alex never hesitates to step up and do what’s needed to support the team.

And apparently, his talents don’t stop at Starlim… ⚽🎾
Rumour has it that when he’s not at work, Alex is busy teaching Messi new soccer tricks and giving Nadal’s coaches advice from the couch while watching TV. Elite athlete status confirmed. 😄
