We're excited to introduce CSSL Weather Intelligence - the next generation of (and new name for) the Canadian Mesonet Portal. https://weather.cssl.ca brings together weather observations, numerical weather models, radar, satellite, and historical event data in a single platform.

The Canadian Mesonet Portal (meso.cssl.ca) will be offline this evening as we prepare for the launch of the new version of the website!

We’re putting the finishing touches on the updated platform, with new features, improved functionality, and a refreshed experience for accessing Canadian weather data.

Another big update is now live on the Canadian Mesonet Portal! This includes hail impact reports, maximum estimated size of hail (MESH) layers, present weather reports, and other minor updates to our display options. Did you know that the Canadian Mesonet Portal (meso.cssl.ca) offers advanced graphing tools that allow you to dig into the data? You can select the variable you want to visualize, create multiple graphs, adjust the graph size, hover over data points, and click/drag to create a custom time frame!

Another minor update is now live on the Canadian Mesonet Portal! (https://meso.cssl.ca) The graphs for the meteorological data now indicate whether the data was derived or adjusted in any way.
