After a very late start about 1am. Date night at a movie I decided to see if I could capture NGC 7293, The Helix Nebula. At only 21 degrees here I can not get it from the observatory but was hoping it cleared the trees to get it from portable setup on the back deck. I was expecting trees in the image but was pleasantly surprised to see no trees.

This is NGC 7293 The Helix Nebula 300 sec x 21. Taken with the SVBony SV555, SVBony filter drawer, holding the Antilia Triband RGB Ultra Filter, using the ZWO ASI2600MC Air. Sitting on the Sky-Watcher Wave 150i Harmonic Mount and the Starfield TriPier-1000B.

Live Views of the Perseids Meteor Shower

Wide field shot of Markarian's Chain. In the Virgo cluster. Not a lot of time as clouds rolled in so 300 sec x 11. Straight out of Sharpcap and colour corrected in Photoshop. The 2nd shot is annotated to show all the Galaxies in that small patch of sky. Also never seen so many photo bombs by satellites.

Equipment used Willam Optics Star II at f4.9, ZWO ASI2400MC-PRO, Antilia Triband RGB Ultra filter, all on a Sky-watcher AZ-EQ6.
