We have some big boy toys in our automotive bay this week! Some people still don’t know but we do offer some services on engines exceeding 10L displacement. Services we can still offer on these big guys are:

✅Hot tanking/buffing

✅Crank and Camshaft polishing

✅Wrist pin bushing changes and machining

✅Crack detection(Magnaflux/Pressure Test)

✅Warp measurement

✅Component measurement and general inspection(main housing bores, rod big ends, cylinders bores)

✅Resurfacing(size of head/block depending, inquire for more info.)

We also have a network of aftermarket parts and component suppliers for your heavy duty diesels, including performance oriented parts!

❌Custom Fab Friday❌

A little timeline of some custom work we did on a customers insane prerunner! We did front and rear bumpers with a grill inserts, rear tire mount, and we mounted his rear shocks. We also did some other work not pictured here including: bolster bars, harness bar, and a custom fuel filler neck and fl**ge for his fuel cell!

What’s normally a last resort repair, is CAT’s only repair for this 3126 block. No oversized pistons available means sleeving every bore back to standard. This is no problem for our Berco boring bar!

Night and day difference on this CAT camshaft that came in for a degrease and polish. The best part about this job is the customer brought it to us in the morning, and it was ready to go back by mid afternoon!

This 8.9 Cummins sure cleaned up nice. Now to install some cam bearings and plugs, then rebush the rods and recondition the cylinder head!
