🚛 LET’S MAKE PERMITTING WORK FOR THE INDUSTRY

Getting simple oversize permits is getting out of hand.

When you can spend so much time sitting on hold waiting for a permit that you could have completed the haul before the paperwork is even processed, it’s a waste of everyone’s time.

We understand that oversize loads need rules, planning and safety requirements. We’re not asking to remove those.

We’re asking for a better system.

Why not introduce fleet-wide oversize permits for qualified carriers?

Instead of applying for individual permits for every routine oversize move, approved fleets could operate under a blanket permit with clearly defined size, weight, route and safety conditions.

Less paperwork.
Less time on hold.
Less administrative cost.
More trucks moving.
More work getting done.

The technology exists. The industry is ready.

At Salmon Arm Crushing, drones are becoming an important tool in our crushing and aggregate operations. Using aerial surveys, we can capture accurate volumetrics of our stockpiles to help with annual planning, inventory management, and understanding what material we have on the ground.

But it’s about more than just putting a drone in the air. Having the right skills, training, and certifications is critical to making sure these flights are conducted safely and responsibly.

Technology gives us better data. Proper training and experience make sure we collect it safely. 👊

💅 Even loaders deserve a little pampering!

Our Cat 980H got her “nails done” with a fresh set of K Series high wear bucket teeth. 😎

The best part? The K Series system makes changing teeth incredibly simple. In just about 10 minutes, the bucket was sporting a fresh new set and ready to get back to moving material.

Sharp teeth, less downtime, and more production. That’s a win all around! 💪

One piece of equipment that makes a huge difference on the job is our Aspen hydraulic neck low bed.

The hydraulic neck makes loading and unloading safer, faster, and more efficient, especially when we’re moving heavy iron between pits and job sites. Less time spent loading means more time getting the job done.

It’s one of those features you don’t fully appreciate until you’ve used it. Once you have, it’s hard to imagine going back.
