Safety note!

An unfortunate event for one of our clients last week.

While driving their bale truck back to their yard, a ratchet strap bounced up and landed on some exposed electrical causing it to arch on the auxiliary pump. This caused a short through the truck and started a fire under the hood, which melted multiple harnesses, wires and surrounding items.

Luckily the truck is repairable, but it could have ended quite differently!

Be sure to cover all exposed electrical - the client will be building a protective cover for the pump to ensure this won’t happen again.

Sometimes our mechanics forget tools in hidden spots.

We had a 4020 come through our shop back in April of 2024. The customer recently brought the tractor back for some other work and we discovered one of our technicians Snap On magnetic lights - it even had his name on it and still works.

Now that’s a quality light!

We were lucky enough to enjoy a quick glimpse of harvest with our pea fields last week.

With this ‘lovely’ weather we are holding off a bit before we start swathing our oat field.

Hoping everyone else has got a decent start or is getting prepared to begin their harvest!
