If one room in your house is always hotter than the others, you don’t necessarily have to just live with it. 👀🌡️

Uneven temperatures can happen for plenty of reasons. A blocked or closed vent, poor airflow, sun exposure, ductwork issues, or even the location of your thermostat can all play a part.

Start simple. Check that the vents in the warmer room are fully open and unobstructed, keep doors open when possible, and use blinds or curtains during peak sun.

Still noticeably warmer than the rest of the house? That’s when it might be worth having someone take a closer look.

Because “the upstairs is just always hot” doesn’t have to be your normal. 😂

We love optimism, but your A/C can only do so much. 😂❄️

When your home isn’t cooling the way it normally does, cranking the thermostat down to 15°C won’t make your system cool any faster. Closing random vents can also affect airflow, and a filter that’s seen better days certainly isn’t helping.

Before assuming the worst, start with the basics. Check your filter, make sure your vents are open and unobstructed, and pay attention to any unusual noises, weak airflow, or changes in how long your system is running.

And if something still doesn’t seem right, give us a call before your A/C decides it’s officially had enough. 👀
