A Bright Step Forward for the Bellingham Waterfront

This week, joined community leaders and project partners such as Puget Sound Energy, Western Solar Inc., Cascadia Renewables, and the Port of Bellingham, to celebrate the ribbon-cutting of a new rooftop solar installation at Fishermen’s Pavilion on the Bellingham waterfront.

Designed as a community solar project, the installation helps generate renewable electricity for the local grid while creating an opportunity for residents to participate in and benefit from solar energy without installing panels on their homes.

We’re proud that Silfab panels were selected for this project and grateful to support efforts that help expand access to clean energy through strong local partnerships.

Safety starts with preparation, awareness, and continuous learning.

Across our facilities, safety training and preparedness include onboarding programs, operational training, role-specific standard work instructions, OSHA site training for contractors, Learning Management Systems, emergency preparedness, and daily safety practices, designed to ensure that all our employees have the knowledge, tools, and resources needed to work safely and confidently.

Creating a strong safety culture takes continuous learning, employee engagement, operational awareness, and a shared commitment across every level of the organization. At Silfab Solar, safety is part of how we work, manufacture, train, and support our teams every day.

Powering America’s Energy Future from Houston

This year’s American Clean Power Association Conference & Exhibition brought together leaders across solar, storage, wind, manufacturing, and energy infrastructure to explore the technologies, policies, and partnerships shaping the future of energy in America.

The Silfab Solar team had a great week connecting with customers and partners through conversations around domestic manufacturing, grid modernization, and the continued growth of clean energy.

And because some of the best conversations and partnerships continue beyond the exhibit hall, we also enjoyed spending time connecting with industry partners on the golf course.

Thank you to the American Clean Power Association (ACP) for creating opportunities to connect, collaborate, and help move the energy industry forward.

Advancing Community Solar Conversations in Washington, DC

Silfab Solar's Northeast Regional Sales Manager, John Hartley, recently attended the 2026 Community and Distributed Energy Summit in Washington, DC.

As demand for clean energy continues to grow, collaboration across the industry plays an important role in expanding access to solar, strengthening local energy infrastructure, and supporting the communities these projects serve.

We appreciated the opportunity to engage with industry professionals, policymakers, and partners, exchange ideas, and contribute to conversations helping shape the future of distributed energy.
