Silfab Solar, a leader in American-made solar panels, applauds the thoughtful and responsive polysilicon policy by President Trump to further reshore American jobs and promote domestic manufacturing in support of the growing U.S. solar industry.

The White House decision regarding Section 232 tariffs on imports of polysilicon and its derivatives further strengthens U.S. manufacturers like Silfab Solar, which has invested hundreds of millions of dollars at U.S. facilities, employs thousands of American workers, and is planning further expansions to continue producing high-quality, extremely powerful solar panels and solar cells.

In the Evergreen State, Silfab Solar is helping keep it Ever-Clean. ♻️

Sustainability is at the heart of everything Silfab Solar does, and that commitment extends beyond its manufacturing facilities.

Last week, partnered with Washington's Adopt-a-Highway program to help keep local roadsides clean. By volunteering their time to remove litter, team members are helping protect the communities they call home while preserving the natural beauty that makes Washington the Evergreen State.

Together, the team is making a meaningful difference, one mile at a time.

Think solar only works on bright, sunny days? That is one of the most common misconceptions about solar energy.

Although solar panels produce the most electricity in cool, sunny weather, they generate power from daylight reaching the solar cells and supporting ongoing energy production. Even on overcast days or during inclement weather.

Silfab Solar's high-efficiency, American-made modules are engineered and tested to deliver reliable performance in real world conditions throughout the year.

💡 Did you know? Solar agreements with farmers often last 20-30 years, providing a predictable, long-term income source while agricultural land can remain productive in many cases.

Benefits of solar development can include:

✅ Opportunities for continued agricultural land use
✅ Support for local economies through new investment
✅ Greater long-term resilience for rural communities

As solar adoption continues to grow, innovative approaches to land use are helping demonstrate how clean energy and agriculture can complement one another.
