Cobbles. Those are rocks. Not potatoes. And a LOT of cobbles. Differing soils conditions are always an issue. This change condition erupted this week on our site outside of Guelph. What started as a 1350mm (54") Auger Bore - will pivot to a Pipe Ram. With Earth Boring - there are options to get the work done!

Been a busy 7 days on the HDD front here at Earth Boring! 600mm HDPE and two 350mm HDPE successfully installed on our Lincoln project. Nod to the field crew for getting this work complete! Business as usual!

Today we are excited to announce the last hole-through (that’s tunnel talk for finished drive) of our Halton tunnel project.
31 MTBM drives for a total of 14km of on-grade wastewater 1200mm pipe – driving from 30 EBCL secant pile shafts under major infrastructure in Halton Region.
This is the longest length MTBM project in Canada. The work will support continued growth and development in the Halton area.

The successful completion of a project of this size is the result of a wide range of engaged project stakeholders. From the infrastructure owner, our client to our dedicated and innovative project management team – great effort on a huge MTBM project.

Tremendous credit and big ‘nod’ to our field crews who put in outstanding efforts to get this job done!
Grit, determination and hard work saw this project thru.

At the OSWCA - Ontario Sewer & Watermain Construction Association AGM in Niagara. Presentation by - Aaron Witt BuildWitt - on drawing youth into Construction. At 29 he has built a great media empire dedicated to careers in the ‘dirt world’ - predicated on posting pictures of cool construction stuff on line.

Pulling 2000 meters of 16" and 20" HDPE pipe!

This line off Williams Parkway was installed under several main road crossings and pedestrian culverts without disrupting traffic.

We have just completed our 2nd External Audit as a COR recognized organization.

This time around we were audited under the COR 2020 parameters. A more demanding audit process.

Through the effort of our entire organization under the direction of Patrick Channing our Manager of HSE, we couldn’t be more pleased to announce we have passed our audit with a 94%.

The ‘score’ is a reflection of our safety culture and in no small part the hard work and due diligence of all our workforce.

We will continue to hold high standards of safety and seeing that everyone makes it home safe after a greats days work!
