Air quality in an indoor pool environment goes beyond just humidity control.

Did you know that chloramines are 4 times denser than air, causing them to settle on the pool surface or “breathing zone”?

Traditional dilution methods can disturb chloramines at the pool surface, spreading them throughout the space before exhausting them. Source capture takes a different approach, removing chloramine-laden air directly at the source to help improve occupant comfort and air quality.

Seresco dehumidifiers are available with a source capture ready option designed specifically for natatorium applications. When paired with Paddock Pool Equipment Company source capture systems, facilities can create a more effective approach to managing chloramines at the pool surface.
