1961 meets 2025 – technology bridges two distinct eras, spanning 60 years of innovation. With metrology-grade laser scanning, we can precisely capture the physical geometry of classic vehicles and introduce advanced design and fabrication methods. While the original era was limited by its technology and tools, high-precision laser scans now allow us to work with complex shapes using the efficiency of modern design software. In these images, you’ll see examples of the scans we performed on a 1961 Chevrolet Impala: exterior, interior, inner and outer panels, engine bay, and other components. The resulting data is consistent and reliable, enabling the creation of high-quality parts with precision fitment.
