Yes, there is a lot of reasons to choose a smaller home! Here are some of our favourite bonuses of living small.
1. It's easier to clean! I don't know about you, but the stress of cleaning my house every day/week can sometimes be overwhelming. Less house = less cleaning!
2. You will have lower utility costs. Yes, yes and yes! Who doesn't want to save money!?? Really, who?
3. You will have less to maintain. The cost of maintaining a home is something a lot of home buyers forget when they purchase their first home. Contrarily to renting, if you have a leak or if something break, you are entirely in charge of fixing it. There is no landlord to call because, well, you are the landlord!!
4. Smaller houses are far, far less expensive in all categories. From building to maintaining, having a smaller home could help you have financial freedom! I mean, how cool is that!
