Hi everyone!

We're currently experiencing technical difficulties with our website. We'll post when everything is resolved. 🐜

Hi everyone,
We've just released an update to AntNupTracker! It's available for both iOS and Android.

Here are the highlights of this release:
- **Loading fix:** we've changed how the taxonomy is loaded the first time the app is launched to make it faster. Thanks to everyone who made us aware of the issue.
- **New feature:** users can now edit their profiles to update their description and institutional affiliation. Thanks to user ARDF for the feature suggestion!
- **Attribution:** we've now included a more prominent attribution to OpenWeather (TM), the service we use to get flight weather information.

Thanks again to everyone who's feedback helped us for this update!

Hi everyone,
Just a heads-up that the first time you open the app, it will take a bit of time to download the full taxonomy data. On a slow connection, this can take several (as many as 20) minutes. This only happens the first time you open the app, and then the taxonomy is stored locally. We're working on finding a more efficient way of delivering the list of genera and species and we'll release an update fixing this issue.

Thanks to everyone who has contributed flights since we released our latest version! Our app for Android has been downloaded more than 100 times!

Hi everyone! We have good news! Our updated app has just been approved! This update brings with it many new features, including the ability to add multiple images to a flight and enhanced filtering.

For iOS users, it will be available as an update or it can be downloaded from https://apps.apple.com/us/app/antnuptracker/id1493362260 (it may take a bit of time for the new version to appear). For Android users, it can be downloaded from https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bzrudski.ant_nup_tracker.

Please note, if you have created a user account within the past few months, it was created in our test database and can't be used to log into the app. If this is the case, please either recreate your account, or in the coming days we will try to migrate the accounts to the main database. A user account is now required to use the app, but it is very easy to create an account.

We hope you enjoy this update! Please let us know if you have any new features to suggest or any bugs for us to correct.

Enjoy tracking those ant nuptial flights!
