The ongoing development of Icarus' ( ) program now includes a new capability as a tactical tanker. Incorporating Eaton Corporation's advanced 6th Generation Air-to-Air Refueling system concepts, including its , and systems in the form of a roll-on AAR kit, will undoubtedly offer significant advancement of the mission capability for the TAV platform and its end users.

With ability to dispense up to 14,000lbs of fuel at the broadest airspeed envelope, and equipped to cover other domains such as Communication relay, Network Extension Node and various Surveillance & Reconnaissance tasks in parallel, the Icarus TAV is a true Canadian Multi-Mission Aircraft designed with the end users in mind.

Eaton Corparation’s long history of AAR innovation and success will bring to end users of the tanker and will facilitate seamless and trouble-free refueling of manned or unmanned probe equipped receivers.
