Job description
We are currently looking for a bilingual, motivated, organized and results-oriented Project Manager to join our team.
The Project Manager will prepare estimates and project timelines, order materials, organize and keep track of items such as purchase orders, contracts, invoices, project close outs, and general administration duties.
Responsibilities
- Develop project estimates and project timelines
- Tracking of construction projects, creating purchase orders/change orders, and ensuring proper tracking of budgets.
- A passion and drive for building client relationships
- Maintaining data base and ensuring accurate information as it relates to construction projects progress.
- Produce ongoing reporting associated with the progress of projects.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, keeping all stakeholders up to date on projectsβ progress.
- Gathering, organizing, and maintaining all related project documents.
- Following up with contractors to ensure invoices are sent in a timely manner.
- Ensure client payment schedules are respected
- Respond to any billing inquiries from contractors and suppliers.
- Identify opportunities for material and labour cost efficiency
- Performing site inspections
Requirements and Qualifications
- Cegep degree in architectural technology or comparable degree
- Construction: Minimum 3 to 5 years related experience
- Estimator: Minimum 2 years related experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills in French and English
- Collaborative with strong interpersonal skills
- Results oriented with a high level of self-motivation
- Coachable teammate with an eagerness to learn and ready to jump in to do whatever it takes to get the job done
- Highest level of personal and professional integrity and ethics
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, Auto-Cad, Internet applications and related software
- Efficient decision-making skills
- Ability to perform in a team-oriented environment and analyze decisions with broad perspective
- Ambitious, decisive & hard working
