Modular installation of units in the Acadie Project | Monde-Uni Housing Cooperative
A significant step was recently achieved on the construction site of the Monde-Uni Cooperative 'habitation, an affordable housing project implemented under the Program d'habitation abable Québec (PHAQ) of the Société d'habitation du Québec (SHQ), aimed at supporting the realization of affordable rental housing intended for households low or moderate income as well as people with special housing needs.
In just 3 days, the 26 modular dwellings were successfully installed on-site, showcasing the efficiency, coordination and expertise of the mobilized teams.
This project is carried out by Magil-Tisseur, in collaboration with maisonsbonnevillehomes, responsible for the manufacture of modular units. This innovative approach accelerates construction while ensuring a high level of quality for the benefit of future residents.
