Women in the trades. We belong there!

Workshop Wednesday is here 🙌🏼 For this weeks we are featuring Girls_can_frame . Even after hardship she continues to work in the trade she loves!

Brittany’s career in construction began in a high school co‑op program, where she was introduced to framing and it was love at first cut. From that moment on, she knew the trades were where she belonged.

She has experienced countless incredible moments in the trades, but her journey hasn’t been without challenges. She faced serious harassment from a fellow worker on site, and when she reported it after it continued, she was removed from the site and told she was “too much drama” because “nobody else has this issue.” There were moments when the hardship nearly pushed her out of the industry, but her passion for the trades kept her moving forward. No matter what she’s faced, she continues to push past adversity because she truly loves the work.

Today, Brittany has expanded her skill set into the administrative side of construction, taking on responsibilities that align with her life while still staying deeply connected to the industry. She continues to take on side projects to keep her hands on the tools, and she’s excited to return to full‑time site work in the future.

Our Grand Opening last week was a HUGE success!
So many people attended, watched a demo from Amelie, and had amazing food!
