We’ll be the first to admit — we’re not great at remembering to take photos 😅 but here’s a little photo dump of some of the projects we’ve had the chance to work on.

From bathrooms and kitchens to full renovations, custom railings, louvres, and a bit of everything in between — we’ve been keeping busy doing what we love.

One of our owners was recognized by Carpenters Union Local 1588 with the Allyship Award — and it reflects what we truly believe at Castaway Construction.

We believe anyone who’s willing to work hard, take pride in what they do, and put in the work deserves a place in the trades. Most importantly, you’ve got to have fun while doing it.

That’s how strong teams are built. That’s how the industry moves forward.

We’d like to extend our sincere condolences to the family of the one and only Popeye.

Anyone who knew him knew his sense of humour and resilience were unmatched. A retired carpenter, Popeye always had his ear to the ground. In the early days of Castaway Construction, when we were just two guys with a dream, he was constantly sending work our way.

“I’m retired — call the young fellas,” he’d say.

You’ll be missed, Popeye.

Once a Castaway, always a Castaway.

What We’re Looking For:
• Certified Journeymen Carpenters
• Strong 3rd and 4th-year apprentices will also be considered
• Team players with a solid work ethic and attention to detail

What We Offer:
• A dynamic and professional team environment
• Competitive wages (to be discussed after a 2-week trial period)
• Consistent work with a company that values craftsmanship and quality
