Corrado and Florence wanted high ceilings, a vaulted ceiling with a bridge walkway to the master bedroom—something many said couldn’t be done. Even I wondered—but together with their architect and my team, we made it happen.

From the stunning exterior to every interior detail, this home was about creating that moment you step inside and just feel wowed.

There were challenges—like structural beams that conflicted with our 5” HVAC runs—but our engineer found a solution that kept the beams flush and the systems seamless.

The work didn’t go unnoticed. The building inspector even wrote:
“A project with this type of customizability requires a high level of attention to match the requirement for high level execution.”

Meet Carter Hale, a Red Seal General Carpenter in Carter enjoys the challenge of learning something new every day.
His journey to success began in high school when he pursued a home building
program. "From there he rolled into a full-time position with a commercial contractor. In his second year, he switched to a residential company Carter is an inspiration to other young people thinking of pursuing a career in the trades. ®

Today we celebrate Vinces birthday at Benchwood Builders.
After starting his career 25 years ago becoming a Journeyman carpenter and working his way up as Project manger with several established
builders he has been instrumental in expanding our company and has managed some of our most challenging NOTL based projects over the years.
Everyone enjoys working with Vince because he brings his positive attitude, enthusiasm and professionalism to work every day.
