Crews have recently completed phase 1 of development for our friends at Calnash Ag Event Centre.

This has been a unique and challenging project as it involved having to displace a portion of an existing wetland. Working closely with environment and engineers we were able to accomplish this by utilizing floating silt curtain and other industry specific techniques which allowed for minimal environmental impact.

We look forward to continuing to assist in the growth of their plan to be one of the premier establishments in the country!

-Equipment Operators and Laborers for our Civil Earthworks and Reclamation divisions. Potential for year round employment for the right individuals. Schedules vary depending on project.

-Winch Truck Driver experienced in oilfield hauling as well as equipment moving, with experience pulling different trailer combinations

-Highway Truck Driver with experience in off road driving and super b trailers as well as end dump.

Trucks are based out of the Leduc area.

Looks like spring is finally here to stay!

Last week our crews started breaking ground in Ponoka clearing some brush in preparation for the earthworks!

Black Ember is hiring!!

We are currently looking for a class 1 Driver to join our team!

The position is based out of Leduc Ab but the work will be across Western Canada.

Applicants will have the following:
-Clean driver's abstract.
-Winch experience
-Experience moving equipment
-Experience with dimensional loads
-Comfortable pulling different trailer combinations.

*Bonus points if they have experience operating equipment, or willing to perform other duties within the company.

The ideal applicant will be a trustworthy and dependable, self motivated individual that is mechanically inclined and willing to learn. Rates will be negotiated on experience.
