Looking for G3 and G2 technicians for installations and servicing
Skills
Experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing a multitude of HVAC equipment. (Furnaces, boilers, fireplaces, etc.) and/or installation of HVAC equipment.
Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
Must be able to communicate both written and verbal communications clearly and effectively.
Ability to work independently and with others as a team in a timely manner, making sure the job is done correctly the first time.
Must be physically capable of performing all work required of this position.
Very punctual, dependable, and reliable.
Qualifications and Education
Must have HVAC service and air conditioning service experience. and/or installation
Must have a Gas Technician 2 or 3
A Certificate of 313A refrigeration and air conditioning systems mechanical is an asset.
A Certificate of 313D residential air conditioning systems mechanical is an asset.
Must have Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent.
Clean and valid Class G Driver’s License
Job Description: Maintain, diagnose, and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units for residential customers or installations of HVAC equipment.
Be available to work on a rotating basis between 5 other guys, for on-call emergency service for customers.
Maintain good working order of company vehicle including refueling as necessary, reporting any mechanical issues. Vehicles should be cleaned out and kept clean on a regular basis.
Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle.
Document all installed equipment upon arrival; make, model, serial number, type of fuel, take necessary measurements, and pictures
Record and report all faults, deficiencies, and other unusual occurrences, as well as the time and materials expended on work orders.
Recommend, develop, and perform preventive and general maintenance procedures.
