Foundation is poured and it's go time on this North Saanich addition project.
This is always an exciting stage, after the planning, excavation, forming, and concrete work, the footprint of the new space is finally clear and things really start to take shape.
Next up: framing.

Homes are changing.

More and more families are finding ways to live closer together, support each other, and make home ownership work in a very different economy than it was years ago.

This project was especially meaningful to us. The homeowners built an addition onto their existing home so their daughter and growing family could move into the main house and stay close to family.

Thoughtful projects like this remind us that building is not always about bigger homes, sometimes it is about creating space for the people who matter most.

Here are the bathrooms of the reno we posted a couple days ago.

This ensuite is everything we love about West Coast design. Beautiful fir, natural stone, and clean simple lines. The freestanding tub sits right by the window with that garden view, quiet, calm, and completely unpretentious.

No fuss, no clutter. Just beautiful materials allowed to speak for themselves.

This one came together really nicely.

It was a full home renovation, with a focus on keeping things simple, warm, and full of natural light. The client had a great vision and it all just worked.

We especially love how connected the spaces feel and all the natural wood throughout.

A small front entrance upgrade.

Nothing major. Just a simple covered entry with timber and stone, but it completely changed how the home feels when you walk up (and keeps you dry on those West Coast days).
