Abili-Tech Translation application for Sign language and spoken language users

02/08/2026

We’re excited to share an update on our sign language translation application.

Our team is actively developing this platform, and we’ve reached a stage where we’d like to begin testing the current live version with real-world users.

At the moment, we support English-to-ASL translation for evaluation. This release uses a rule-based approach, and the signing output is displayed through a skeletal animation. We’re already working toward replacing this with a more natural humanoid avatar in an upcoming update.

We want to build this responsibly and with community guidance. Feedback from Deaf signers, interpreters, educators, and ASL learners will help us improve:

• signing naturalness
• clarity and word order
• usability
• overall accuracy

This is not a commercial launch this is the current development version of our application, and community feedback is essential to shaping what comes next.

If you’d like to try the app and share your thoughts, comment below or send us a direct message. Thank you for supporting accessibility and inclusive communication

English → ASL Translation Test

We are developing an English-to-ASL sign language translation system, and we truly value the community’s feedback.

Here is our next test sentence:
“Your parents live there.”

This version is generated using our early-stage skeletal signing avatar, so your suggestions and corrections are very helpful for improving accuracy and naturalness.

Please feel free to comment with feedback or the correct ASL structure.
Thank you for supporting this project!

We’re building an English-to-ASL sign language translation application, and we would love support from the signing community.

Right now, we are developing the English-to-ASL text-to-sign translation module. To reduce costs in the early stages, we plan to use a skeletal sign language avatar until our system can generate accurate and natural translations.

We want to build this technology with the Deaf and signing community, working together at every stage.

I will be posting our translation outputs regularly so we can receive your feedback and continue improving the system.

If you’re interested in sharing feedback or collaborating, please comment or send me a message.
