This Kitsilano condo renovation features an updated kitchen and bathrooms with stone countertops, as well as a new fireplace mantel and tile, hardwood floors, closet organizers with glass doors, new lighting throughout and a lacquer finish Barrisol stretch ceiling in the kitchen. I love the warmth of this home focusing on the furniture and artwork.

Grade A+: School Projects - a look back

As the graduation season for secondary schools approaches, we have been thinking of the various school projects that we have completed.

Our company, Barrisol BC, showcases Barrisol installations at Mulgrave Secondary School, Garibaldi Secondary School, SFU Surrey Campus, and North Eastern University Vancouver Campus.

Our company division, Woodworks Custom Developments Ltd. has successfully completed full tenant improvements for Little Mountain Learning Academy and the Vancouver Circus School, in addition to carpentry services for the West Vancouver School District.

GET TO KNOW OUR CREW: Sawyer

Sawyer brings excellent work ethic to our crew and also strong family values. Coming from a tight-knit family Sawyer plays ice hockey with his father, regularly visits his sisters and mom and has spend time with his grandmother in Montreal, who is now 104 years young!

We also appreciate that Sawyer introduced us to his cousin Scott, who subsequently joined our crew and has since became an integral part of the team.

Recently back from a romantic trip to Mexico with his gal, Sawyer's next itinerary will bring him to Estonia.

We value Sawyer's strong character and determination. He never hesitates to dig in and get the job done.

Sawyer is also an excellent sport when it comes to our work adventures! In the attached video he is trying "horseback archery" for the first time, with Scott providing the arrows. Bullseye!

This project was featured in the Canadian Interiors Magazine!

It required custom 3D shaping with curved Barrisol BMS345-20 track and Reverso Biowood fabric.

The Barrisol Light® solution highlights the wood while illuminating the hall with a white light in perfect harmony with the other colours in the space, for a refined, modern and very pleasant design.

Our distributor LG Interiors Inc. recently finished installing black and white lacquered ceilings, a multi-month, phased project. Over 4,000 sq. ft. of stretch ceiling now enhance this building with elegance and modernity.
