From disaster to dreamy.. Check out this kitchen we put in a home we rebuilt last year. This wasn’t your ordinary reno situation though….

In early 2019, we got a call you never want to receive.. a family had a house fire, and the entire home was decimated.

While nobody was harmed in the event, a fire of this magnitude still left a mark on those involved. It’s a scary thing when you realize how powerful the forces of nature can be.

In the process of getting their home back, Alair Homes Oakville was contacted to help. The situation required a delicate approach - one that our fantastic clients made all the more pleasant throughout.

We’d like to show you some of the finished photos, as well as one of the devastation the fire left behind. 👉

July 16th is the day!

After months of waiting, we're super excited to welcome the reopening of gyms across Ontario!

This recent exterior renovation of a classic raised bungalow located in Southeast Burlington is a prime example of how a home can be transformed.

Built in 1972, its architectural “bones” allowed for a harmonious combination of design choices that came together to create something greater than the sum of its parts.

We’re partnering with local businesses to spread some love through our initiative!

The Kings Arms is a long standing staple of Downtown Oakville. In fact, the building is shown in the 1863 Plan of the Town of Oakville as the property of Captain William Wilson, whose family were among the first settlers in Oakville.

The foundation, basement, and some of the old house still form part of The King's Arms to this day. Although there have been many changes over the years, the character and atmosphere of a British Pub has remained, making it the favorite "local" of generations of patrons in the Town of Oakville.

The King's Arms has great pints, great food, and great vibes! This ain’t your average pub, folks!

If thinking about this kitchen everyday is wrong, then we don’t want to be right!

The focus of the was creating an updated space that remained classic and timeless. We paired these beautiful custom white cabinets by with natural stone countertops. The dark hardwood floors were carried through the entire first floor and into the kitchen creating a little bit of contrast that helped ground white cabinetry.

It all came together perfectly and it is one of our favourite projects to date.

We are currently working with several clients on their dream kitchens. It seems to be split right down the middle with half leaning towards a classic look, and the other half looking for a more modern feel.

So we have to ask: Are you Team Classic? Or Team Modern?
