Job Description
Concrete Cutting Technicians, Coring Technicians & General Labourers willing to learn concrete cutting and coring
We are seeking a team-players to take up manual labor tasks and support operations in worksites.
We’d like you to have stamina and the ability to lift heavy loads. You should be able to concentrate on performing your tasks and be committed to following safety rules.
If you fit this description, and you’re also interested in doing tough but important work, we’d like to meet you.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
i. Clean up worksites
ii. Assist co-workers on-site
iii. Handle and transport materials (ex: Concrete / Slurry ) and equipment ( ex: Drills / \Grinders)
iv. Use power tools and machinery (ex: Forklifts) when needed
v. Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor tasks (ex: Vacuuming Slurry / Concrete Removal)
vi. Put up warning signs (ex: Signposts / Cones)
vii. Help with setting up and transferring temporary structures (ex: Scaffolding)
viii. Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions
Looking for someone who is willing to learn and grow.
We are willing to train the right candidate to do the following:
i. Coring
ii. Concrete Cutting / Green Cutting
iii. Wall Sawing
iv. Concrete Scanning
Requirements
i. Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 40 pounds etc.)
ii. Good hand-eye coordination
iii. Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus
iv. Communication and teamwork skills
v. Commitment to safety rules
vi. Experience is an asset, but not necessary
A valid DL is a must
