Positions-
Equipment Operator and Laborer
BLM Construction is looking for a talented Equipment Operator considering a career in the Landscaping business. As an operator, you will be responsible for running equipment such as, Skid Steers, Excavators, Backhoes, and various trucks. BLM Construction is a family-owned and operated company seeking to expand their team with reliable, hard-working and motivated individuals.
The position is Full-Time at a competitive wage depending on experience. The schedule ranges from 8-12 hour days and requires weekend availability.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
● Operating equipment in a safe and efficient matter
● Conducting pre and post operating checks on equipment
● Lubricating, cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment
● Transporting equipment to and from sites
● Assist with labour and “out of machine” duties
● Adhere to all company and legislative policies
● Complete required safety paperwork
● Ability to work under minimal supervision
● Willingness to learn and work in a team environment
Experience:
● Required a minimum Class 5 License
● 3- 5 years Equipment Operating experience is suggested but BLM Construction is willing
to train you if you fit the company's values.
● Grading, excavating and bulk ground moving experience is prefered
● Experience towing and moving heavy equipment
● Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities
