These 1000kW generator enclosures have come a long way!

The team has been hard at work on this package, which includes two generator buildings and a fully integrated E-house. Built from 12-gauge steel with a fully welded design, the system is designed to meet a noise target of 65 dBA at 7 metres. Swipe to see the full progress.

This intake damper is installed within the generator building to regulate combustion air intake and maintain controlled airflow across all operating conditions. Designed for reliable sealing during shutdown and standby, it helps prevent cold air infiltration, moisture ingress, and unwanted heat loss while supporting proper engine performance during operation.

Did you know we build e-houses?

One of our current projects includes two generator enclosures and an e-house. Inside the e-house you will find a 5kV paralleling switchgear system. The switchgear system will be used to connect two more medium-voltage power sources, in this case both generators, so that they can operate in parallel and share load.

Another project heading out the door. This 12-gauge steel enclosure was engineered for a 1.5MW diesel generator, making it a lot of building for a lot of power. The inlet and outlet silencers even had to be temporarily removed to accommodate transport!
