🚒 Applications for the 2026-27 Fire Protection Grant are now open 🚒

Ontario is investing $20 million to support firefighter health and safety through the Fire Protection Grant.

This funding will help municipalities and fire services address emerging risks and enhance firefighter protection through investments in:

✅ equipment and supplies that support firefighter cancer prevention initiatives
✅ personal protective equipment (PPE)
✅ minor infrastructure improvements that promote firefighter health and safety
✅ enhanced broadband connectivity
✅ equipment and supplies to address lithium-ion battery incidents

Firefighters put themselves at risk every day to protect our communities. This grant helps to ensure they have the tools, equipment and resources needed to stay safe while serving others.
