Today, June 6, 2026, ACE Research and Testing Facility at Ontario Tech celebrates 15 years of innovation, growth, collaboration, and the incredible people who have shaped ACE into what it is today.
 
Over the past 15 years, ACE has become more than a research and testing facility, it has become a place for groundbreaking ideas, industry-leading capabilities, hands-on learning, and meaningful partnerships. From automotive and climatic testing to aerospace, defence and dual-use testing, human performance testing, media production, and beyond, ACE has continued to push boundaries while supporting the future of research, technology, and talent development at Ontario Tech.
 
This milestone would not have been possible without the dedication of our staff, students, researchers, industry partners, clients, and community members who have contributed to ACE’s success throughout the years. Every project, partnership, event, and achievement has played a role in building the legacy we celebrate today.
 
As we reflect on the past 15 years, we are incredibly proud of how far ACE at Ontario Tech has come, and even more excited for what lies ahead. The future is full of new ideas, new opportunities, and continued innovation, and we are grateful to everyone who continues to be part of this journey with us.

Science Rendezvous Recap!

Each year, ACE participates in Science Rendezvous at Ontario Tech University. This year, we opened our doors to everyone who stopped by ACE throughout the day, at any time.

From paper airplanes in the Climatic Wind Tunnel, to “rain” in the Small Climatic Chamber, a Toyota RAV4 in the 4-Post, and the always anticipated Mega Block competition in the MAST, it was another great year!

These community events continue to bring so much energy and excitement to our facility and the university campus, which becomes a real highlight for both ACE staff and Ontario Tech students.

ACE is currently attending the 28th International Technical Conference on the Enhanced Safety of Vehicles in Toronto, Ontario, from Tuesday, May 12 to Friday, May 15! You can find ACE's team members, Andrew and Rick, at booth #27 in Hall C of the Enercare Centre building at Exhibition Place.

ACE team members look forward to engaging in meaningful conversations, sharing ideas, and being part of the innovation driving the industry of vehicle safety forward at ACE.

Working alongside our team of engineers and technicians, you’ll play a key role in supporting research, development, and testing activities within ACE, helping drive innovation.
