DC's Office of Research Services, Innovation and Entrepreneurship (ORSIE) has been recognized by Colleges and Institutes Canada with a Gold Program Excellence Award for Applied Research and Innovation at the 2026 CICan Connections Conference in Ottawa.

The honour celebrates the growth and impact of DC’s applied research ecosystem and the work of its five research centres across AI, cybersecurity, virtual production, craft beverage innovation, and social impact.
