About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Commercial Landscape Foreman to lead our field crews on high-impact commercial and large-scale residential projects. You will be responsible for managing site safety, directing a crew of 3-5 workers, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Crew Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor crew members, ensuring all safety protocols and site regulations are strictly followed.
Site Management: Coordinate daily tasks, manage materials, and operate machinery (e.g., skid steers, excavators).
Project Ex*****on: Read and interpret landscape drawings, grade to specs, and manage softscape/hardscape installations.
Quality Control: Ensure projects are executed flawlessly and conduct final walkthroughs.
Client & Office Communication: Act as the main point of contact on-site, providing daily progress updates and managing change orders.
RequirementsExperience: Minimum 3-5 years of direct experience as a Foreman/Crew Lead in the landscape construction industry.
Skills: Strong knowledge of grading, topsoil installation, sod installation, base preparation, interlock/retaining wall installation, and planting.
Equipment: Proven ability to safely operate heavy landscape equipment.
Licensing: Valid Class G Driver’s License with a clean abstract. Comfortable towing trailers.
Certifications: ICPI or Landscape Industry Certified credentials are a strong asset.
