Before nails and screws, there was craftsmanship.

The mortise and tenon joint is the foundation of most timber framing. One piece is cut to fit perfectly into another cut piece. This joint aligns two pieces and holds them together.

When done properly, these joints provide load transfer, long-term durability, and an unmatched historic aesthetic value!
