RESTORATION TECHNICIAN – FIRESTONE Restoration

We are a restoration company based in Ottawa, Ontario. We mainly work with clients who experience water, mold damage as well as sanitizing and odor control work.

The Position: We are looking for a Restoration Technician to join the company. The candidate will be involved in many of the various projects being performed by the company from water and mold remediation, to demolition, odor removal services, and rebuild/repairs and general cleaning and labor. The candidate is someone who will truly wear many hats.

Responsibilities:

· Work closely with the team

· Perform and manage remediation and repair to projects.

· Communicate courteously and effectively with the clients.

· Hands-on remediation and rebuild work.

· Operate company vehicles and restoration equipment.

· Occasional on-call work, nights and weekends included.

Requirements:

· Experience in water and mold remediation work including familiarity with the standard equipment and processes is a bonus but not necessary.

· Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.

· Valid driver’s license.

· Experience and skill with drywall, trim and paint is an asset but not necessary.

· IICRC certifications is an asset but not necessary.

· Ability to work occasional nights and weekends.

Job Types: part time to full time depending on volume of work available

Salary: From $21.00 per hour
