What a great way to end the week.

Val Sears and Jaime Rodriguez are at ACMO - The Association of Condominium Managers of Ontario’s Fall Educational Luncheon, learning and connecting with fellow industry professionals.

This morning’s education session highlighted how condo managers can maintain professionalism under pressure while mitigating risk for the corporations they manage also provided great insights into effective communication and conflict resolution for any professional in the room.

These events are always a great reminder of how many people in this industry are dedicated to continuously learning, growing, and improving. We appreciate the opportunity to connect with managers and peers to share ideas and discuss solutions to complex problems.

🚨 Today, over 60 million people will participate in the Great ShakeOut.

That number includes an estimated 500,000 in the seismically active province of British Columbia who will practice “Drop, Cover and Hold On”.

At Keller Engineering, we’re all about continuous learning. 🎓

Our Southern Ontario office was recently treated to a lunch and learn presented by Dino Vito from EBS Geostructural Inc.. The team learned about their helical and micropile foundation systems, and how they offer versatile solutions when poor soil conditions are encountered.

It was a great opportunity for our team to connect over lunch while gaining valuable insights into how we can better navigate complex constructability challenges.

Kenneth Andeza returns to Keller as Team Lead, Building Assessment and Planning – Branch Offices.

With more than 15 years of experience, including a strong focus on project management for multi-residential and commercial buildings, Ken brings valuable expertise to supporting and guiding our Branch Office teams. In his role, he’ll help ensure that building condition assessments, capital planning, and reserve fund studies/depreciation reports are delivered to our clients in a timely and efficient manner.

We know Ken will be an excellent resource for both our clients and our team members as we continue to provide the high-quality service our communities expect.

Covering British Columbia, Alberta, and the Maritimes, Ken will play an important role in helping support smooth operations and assisting communities put their best foot forward when planning for the future.

On November 21, Jennifer will be speaking at DC 105: Reserve Fund Fundamentals as part of CCI Eastern Ontario’s Condominium Director Certificate Courses.

As Team Manager, Building Assessment and Planning at Keller Engineering, Jennifer brings a strong understanding of reserve fund planning and the role it plays in helping condominium communities prepare for future repair and replacement needs.
