Northern is attending the Namibia–EU Business Forum 2026 in Windhoek this week. The two-day conference brings together senior government representatives, private sector leaders, development institutions, and financiers to advance trade, investment, and partnership between Namibia and the European Union.
Last week we announced that we’ve initiated work to relocate our mill to the Okanjande mine site for reassembly as we target a production restart in late 2027.

Processing Plant Move is Underway! The remaining plant infrastructure at Northern's former Okorusu site is being dismantled and will be transport to its Okanjande mine site for reassembly. We are in Paris this week to attend high-level meetings under France's 2026 G7 Presidency. On Tuesday, we’ll be at the B7 Conference on International Trade and Supply Chain Security, an event organized by MEDEF (Mouvement des Entreprises de France) and which brings together business leaders from G7 nations to offer policy recommendations on reducing global imbalances, enhancing economic security, and strengthening supply chains.
On Wednesday, we’ll attend the "From Research to Action – Critical Minerals in the Mid-Transition" conference, which is part of a series of G7-labeled events organized by the AFD Group and the Paris Peace Forum on the sidelines of the G7 Trade Ministerial to address security of supply, geopolitical tensions, and market volatility for critical minerals, analyzing topics ranging from risks to financing and partnerships.
