Carleton Student Engineering Society (CSES) The official page of the Carleton Student Engineering Society (CSES) All aspects of CSES are volunteer run.

The Carleton Student Engineering Society (CSES) has been serving the students of Carleton Engineering for more than 35 years. If you're an undergraduate student enrolled in a stream of engineering, you're a member of CSES. CSES provides social events throughout the year, allowing engineering students to take a break from their studies and let loose. Some of the major events include Yuk Yuks's comedy nights, National Engineering Week and the Reflections award banquet. CSES also provides a wealth of services - Leonardo's Lounge (the engineering cafe & lounge), a free textook trade & equipment loan program, the Iron Times newspaper, and the Student Group Resource Centre. CSES strives to make many volunteer positions available, and encourages students to get involved. Hello C-Eng, we hope you’re ready to get groovy! CSES welcomes you to attend our annual semi-formal dance, Whirlwind, taking place at 7pm on November 13th at Lago Bar and Grill 🪩

TICKETS ARE OFFICIALLY ON SALE! They are available for purchase in the CSES Office or online at shop.mycses.ca for $37.

If you are purchasing online, you must provide your full name and email so we can validate your ticket! Those with online tickets are welcome to, but do not need to pick up a physical ticket in the office.

The CSES Leather Jacket Online Order Form 2026 is now OPEN!!!

Please fill out the form on our website at mycses.ca/leather-jackets, and once the order closes Export Leather will send you an email with an invoice for you to complete the payment.

(You will be taking your own measurements of arms, chest, and waist. Export Leather will then try their best to choose the jacket size that will best fit you. There is no guarantee that the jacket will fit perfectly. If you want to visit them in person, book an appointment.)

Base price starts at $525 + tax. An additional inner pocket is +$10, and length additions (tall lengths, larger sizes) are also +$10 per modification. A name plate is +$10.

Leather jackets are back! On October 6th only, order your fit-to-size, custom Carleton Engineering leather jacket in the EDC from 10 AM - 4 PM! Take part in a tradition that is celebrated by engineering students across Canada, and rep your program with pride!
