A clean, modern upgrade that completely changed the look of this home's entrance.

For this project, we installed a new front walkway and landscape curbing using Oaks Concrete Products, creating clean lines that complement the home's architecture and landscaping.

The existing concrete front steps were structurally sound, making them an excellent candidate for an Oaks Concrete Products step overlay system. The steps were then finished with Techo-Bloc Raffinato caps, giving them a premium appearance while avoiding unnecessary demolition.

To finish off the project, the landscape beds were refreshed with new mulch, topsoil, and seed.

The result is a clean, timeless front entrance that's built to last and dramatically improves the home's curb appeal.

📍 Richmond, Ontario | Front Entrance & Garage Walkway Transformation

First impressions matter—and this Richmond home now has an entrance that reflects the quality of the property.

For this project, we completely transformed the front entrance and garage walkway using Techo-Bloc Sleek HD2 in Beige Cream for the main field, framed with Blu 80 Smooth HD2 in Chestnut Brown to create a clean, timeless border that complements the home's brick exterior.

The front steps were rebuilt using Raffinato 180 mm blocks with Raffinato 60 mm caps, both in Beige Cream, creating a seamless transition from the entrance to the new walkway.
But the transformation went far beyond the surface.

The existing downspout drainage system had failed and was no longer directing water away from the home effectively. We upgraded the drainage by installing a GeoSynthetics pop-up emitter system, surrounded with clear drainage stone, allowing water to discharge safely while protecting the new installation and helping reduce future drainage issues.

As with every Blacktop Construction project, proper excavation, grading, and base preparation were completed before a single paver was installed. A beautiful surface is only as good as the foundation beneath it.

The result is a clean, modern entrance that's built for durability, efficient drainage, and long-term performance.

Four years ago we transformed this front entrance using Techo-Bloc products.

Today we happened to be paving a driveway across the street, so we stopped by to see how everything was holding up.

After battling two weeks of record-breaking heat and heavy rainfall, we were finally able to complete this front entrance and driveway transformation today.

This project included: ✔️ New asphalt driveway ✔️ Custom front entrance with Techo-Bloc step landings ✔️ Fresh, clean curb appeal from the street to the front door.

Sometimes the weather doesn't cooperate, but quality always comes before rushing a project. We waited for the right paving window and completed the asphalt under the proper conditions to deliver a finished product the homeowner can enjoy for years to come.

Land Clearing & Grading Project – Carp, Ontario

This homeowner had a large pile of fill that had been sitting on the property for years along with an overgrown area at the rear of the lot.

Using the existing material already on site, we redistributed the fill throughout the property, reshaped the area, and cleared back the overgrowth along the tree line.

The biggest transformation wasn't just the grading—it was opening up the view. What was once an overgrown section of the property is now a much cleaner, more open space with improved sightlines and better use of the available land.

Outdated precast concrete steps refreshed with a modern interlock overlay system in North Gower. Photo's are from today and job was completed early last spring.

This project involved properly preparing the existing concrete steps and overlaying them using premium Techo-Bloc products to create a cleaner, more updated front entrance with improved curb appeal.

Products Used:

• Blu 45mm inlay — Champlain Grey
• Venetian Caps — Champlain Grey

The goal was to modernize the entrance while keeping the design clean, balanced, and proportional to the home’s exterior.
