Know your Worth by Knowing your Trade
Electronic faucets have a lot of great benefits in regards to ease of use and cleanliness in a washroom, however they can be the most finicky little $@& #% when getting them to initially operate properly! These four were brand new on the market so the rep wasn’t quite sure what was wrong and sent me every replacement part 🤓.
Basics —- check power supply
—- can you see the light activate when you put your hand under it? Also make sure laser is clean.
—- sometimes you can hear the solenoid click and open .... these ones are silent ....
—- check filters on solenoid
—- check controller settings (one of those settings can just have it turn the eye off
—- check water supply (I had one next to this one so I was lucky in the fact I new the problem existed with faucet.
—- all those things pan out then start replacing pieces starting with controller

All these faucets worked when installed and two days later two of them refused to work and one wouldn’t stop dripping. Then when I showed up with parts they all worked fine except then one that didn’t have issues the first time. 6000$ for a sink and faucets you would expect some continuity 😂!

What could possibly go wrong ? 😂 when planning your mechanical room it is extremely important to plan it with alllll the trades . I would never put a trap seal primer box on top of electrical panels! I have seen too many solenoid and vacuum breakers fail and your just waiting for an accident now.

A not to common thing to see around here (as everyone says” I’ve seen one!”, still not common 😂), is an artesian well. This one has been frankensteined over the years but the concept is the same . Turns out the gauge was jammed at 30 since there was only a trickle of pressure out of that tank. Now saying that, always double check before popping the well cap or you will be in for a surprise 💦 😂.

Wanted to try out these multi purpose bits made by Bosch . Used them on porcelain tiles in a shower and they were bruuuutal😓😂. Bout 15 mins a hole , the Milwaukee hole saw version is still by far the best . I would hate to try metal with these....

Never ceases to amaze me what guys get away with doing. Brand new reno and the guy was charging a proper amount and throwing this garbage in. Ya he was making a lot of money however we easily took the contact from him with quality and roughly same price. I would rather put the effort in and have return customers👌👍, be worth the price your charging 😉.

Clean water explained and infrastructure touched on . Didn’t go over depth however here we don’t worry about hitting our water mains because the frost line is 5-6’ so all our mains need to be 7’ down 😉.
