We installed these beautiful 8’8 glass French doors that add a modern touch and complement the dark tones of this 1850s stagecoach. Not only does it bring out the best features of this home, but it also has fantastic insulation and natural light, making it an environmentally conscious reno too! It’s emotional to think back on a house that wasn’t just a project, but a home. With an oversized lot we had the opportunity to add an addition which included a garage, mudroom, cathedral ceiling living room, and an extra bedroom. To keep its centennial charm we incorporated original Ottawa River driftwood into our floorboards and beams. We hope you enjoyed this post as much as we enjoyed living here!
