Parks Canada’s Stone by Stone initiative at Province House National Historic Site demonstrates the precision and dedication required for meaningful heritage restoration, work that Heritage Grade is proud to contribute to.
From the careful repair of more than 2,500 stones to the restoration of 101 original windows, every detail reflects a deep respect for history and craftsmanship.
This project revives traditional techniques such as lime plastering, stone carving, and slate roofing, including extensive interior plaster conservation by the Heritage Grade team. These efforts ensure that the materials and knowledge of the 1840s continue to shape our future.
For Heritage Grade, this collaboration represents the essence of what we do: combining modern technology with traditional trades to preserve Canada’s built heritage for generations to come.
